Everything we publish comes out as one feed: the automated PubMed items, the curated entries and pieces from the editor, newest first.

What to do with it
Put it into a feed reader, which is an application whose whole job is to check a list of addresses on a schedule and show you what has appeared since you last looked. Feedly and Inoreader run in a browser. NetNewsWire and Reeder are the common ones on Apple devices. Thunderbird will do it alongside your mail.
Opening the address in a browser instead shows the raw XML the readers are reading. Nothing is wrong; that is simply what a feed looks like underneath.
What we get out of it
Nothing, and that is the point. You keep the address, so there is no list to join, no account to make and no newsletter. We never learn who is subscribed, and we could not email you if we wanted to.
